Land Sailing on November 1st, 2017, before ScotiaCon?

Hello everyone,

thanks for your very warm welcome on Telegram! It's been so much fun talking to you. Now I can't wait to meet everyone at ScotiaCon in November!

I have an idea for a fun joint activity, a day or two before the Con: Land sailing!

Land sailing, that means zipping around on the beach in a 3-wheeled cart with a sail. The good thing is, you don't have to know how to sail to get started.

I found a company that offers a land sailing introduction course for first-timers. Let's do that, it's simple and it's fun!

I suggest we do it on November 1st, 2017, starting at 2pm, in St Andrews.
More info and some photos can be found here:

The cost will be 50 Pounds per person, the event lasts around 3 hours.

St Andrews is about 55 miles by car from Livingston, or about 2 hours by train.

It may get a bit chilly, so I'll bring my fluffy black wolf hood to keep my head warm.

Who's going to join me? Please reply!

You do not have to sign up right now, but it would be good for me to know how many people we will be.
We can think about transport later, and I will also make a list for you to sign up.

Greetings from the black Birb from the Black Forest.
Speak to you soon,
Birdy the Gryphon / Philipp

I've not heard of this before now, sounds like a fun activity. Although I suspect I will be travelling and working around that date.
